Want some paving slabs?

We have around 90 (give or take) old paving slabs which we plan to dispose off, having re-paved our patio. Rather than take these to the tip, I was wondering if they would be of use to anyone on your allotments? It would be necessary for someone to come and collect them (we live in Goring) but you are very welcome to them. Please get in touch if you might be interested.

Regards,
Jenny H

Got a rotavator?

Hello

I've started preparing my plot for cultivation and could do with a rotavator. Has anyone got one that I could borrow? My plot is at West Tarring.

Cheers

Need a cold frame?

Hello,
I have an old but serviceable, aluminium cold frame which I no longer need. It's about 4'x2' and all the glass is intact. Does anyone want it for a small donation towards my seed purchases for next year? I can be contacted on 01903 532388.

Flame Gun

I have a FLAME GUN I want to dispose of. It is far too good to dump, but it is taking up space in my shed and I no longer have a use for it. The Sheen X500 Flame Gun is an alternative and very effective way of controlling weeds in the garden or on the allotment and does it without the distribution of chemicals. The X500 Flame Gun destroys weeds with its 2000 degrees Fahrenheit controlled flame. When directed at the base of weeds it stops sap rising, so the top growth dries out in a day or two. A second use of the flame gun consumes dried up weeds and weed seeds leaving a potash rich residue. The Flame gun is about three years old and in good condition, although I have not fired it up for about two years. Complete with Trolley and flame hood. Any offers?

Ian Williams, at: ianwilliams1960@hotmail.com, says:

Hi! I have a large amount of horse manure that I am trying to find an outlet for. There is no charge if you want to come and pick it up or, for a small charge, we could deliver it in a trailer. Our land is at West St Sompting. We have a selection of fresh to well rotted manure. If your organization or any member would like it please contact me on 07717515321
